Produced by Metropolitan Charm & Modeling, the Majestic Miss Scholarship Pageant exists for the purpose of allowing girls of all ages to promote their ability in academic achievement, talent, poise and beauty.
The pageant was founded in 2007 by Angela Jackson, a previous pageant director, judge and contestant. The motivation was the concern for the future image of young ladies. Majestic Miss Scholarship Pageant allows contestants to not only be judged on how talented or beautiful they are, but to also submit as a part of their overall score for the crown, something they have accomplished regarding academics.
Scaling from age 6 – 21, the contestants will compete in the categories of Photogenic, Academic, Private Interview, Talent, Sportswear or Swimwear, Party Dress or Evening Gown.
The initial plan is to hold a few pageants in various locations across the state of Texas. As the marketing efforts and awareness increases, the plan is to hold a State Title pageant in 2009 to allow the local winners to compete for the best in Texas!
While this pageant is competitive, there are many opportunities for young ladies to win cash scholarships and many other prizes within each age category.
Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Majestic Miss Scholarship Pageant organization to provide an opportunity for young ladies to compete on many levels and provide several scholarships and prizes for many young ladies to win.
Society is the perfect view of how different people have different strengths, but yet we are all winners. This pageant system would like to recognize those areas and reward accordingly.
Goals for Winners
- Concentrate on how to ways to contribute to the efforts of “Breast Cancer” and “Abused Women and Children”. Team up and volunteer to support those efforts.
- Participate in events that support our focus for Community Service.
- Participate in parades and ribbon cutting ceremonies to promote the positive image of young ladies.
- Beyond the reign, hopefully this experience will enhance the life of all contestants and winners and enable them to pass on the torch to others.
